Typically I prefer straightening my naturally wavy hair, but Christmas called for a special hairdo - hence the waves. Unfortunately this particular "wave" resulted in a neck burn since I'm not all that accustomed to my curling rod, so I'll be hiding a hickey-looking neck burn spot for several days, as a result.  But it was a fun diversion from the usual hairdo, if anything.
